It’s Day 1 of the A to Z blog challenge and though I’ve written more than one thousand words in blogposts, the end effect was similar to a packet of crayons melted to a yo-yo string.
I’m off topic, nervous, void of any useful information, subject to waves of nausea and anxiety and for what?
There are hundreds of things I want to write about and they all seem beyond me today.
Today, I am beyond me.
“Today I am beyond me.” And yet, today you were THERE for me. Thank you.
There is nothing more important to hear than that, Crystal. Thank you.
But you have ideas aplenty and they will come back to you, and we will be fascinated anew by history as your own enthusiasm reignites. Deep breaths and no judgment.
Thank you, Roslynn. I’m not worried. April always starts s-l-o-w for me.
🙂 Glad you’re not worried. I liked the simile of the melted crayons on string. Never heard that one before.
Awry? I can very much relate. You describe that edgy-excited-braindead sensation so well. Thank you.
Thanks, Laura. I’m having the experience of “post minimalism” methinks.
Ha ha! Awry! Great word, Tonia! It fits nearly every dinner I prepare! After a recent paprikash dish in which I served rock hard dumplings, I was greeted with silence. So I said, “What should I do with them?” Mom said, “Take ’em to the poop yard.” (sewage disposal not fair from our house).I was so surprised that this came from my gentle mother that I nearly choked on my shock! I think the ghost of my dad momentarily jumped into her body! LOL.
But you are still writing. I dreamed of participating in A-Z, and then reality hit. I feel very much beyond myself as well. We can be beyond together, and eventually it will come back around.
Take a deep breath and let all those words you researched come pouring out. I love your writing and you are a writing warrior to me.
Well at least your post is short and sweet. Take care and I’ll be checking back with you during the challenge.
Ann, when you lack something to say, say it quick. That’s my motto. Enjoy your A to Z and thanks for reading and commenting.
