About Me…

The Vast and Inscrutable Imponderabilities of Life is something my dad used to say when I was growing up. My dad, the much published technical author A.P. Malvino, wrote electronics books for many years for McGraw-Hill and was translated into many languages. Chances are the computer you are using to read this message was designed by someone who read one of his books.

Born in California, raised outside of Dublin, I write fiction and nonfiction and blog about a variety of topics including: history, humor, science, neuroscience, habits, healthy food, and birds/nature.

Images here are mine unless otherwise stated.

  1. Now that you are blogging, you will change! You will eventually feel at home with the world, confident and willing to talk about yourself because others will have share with you, and without fear or embarrassment for the world to see. Your confidence will grow extraordinarily because the words you have written in your blog are worth reading. It will take a while to establish yourself, but soon people will be visiting you regularly just to get their dose of Tonia. I’m glad you took the plunge. 🙂

      1. Awwww I happen to like the veggies, but not the shots. Blog away, maybe even brussel sprouts will grow on you! On the other hand, that doesn’t sound like a pretty picture! 🙂

  2. I second what TCHISTORYGAL said! And I’m going to venture to say that the butterflies that land on you are you loved ones in spirit form. How blissfully wonderful! That just gave me chills. You’re so fortunate!
