In case you arrived here looking for my blog post on compassion, I regret to say I don’t have one prepared. I’ve been busy writing my novel and my head’s been elsewhere.
My initial response was panic, regret, shame, and recrimination and I’m over it now. No point writing about compassion for others without a measure directed to myself.
I will leave you with one thought, a quote. This has been the guiding force of my life since I first read it years ago when the Art of Happiness was first printed in 1998.
Forgiveness and compassion for oneself is just as important! Great quote.
